PRIZM Version 5.3, alongside the August 2026 data refresh, delivers new capabilities for brokers, stop-loss carriers, MGUs, TPAs, and healthcare providers—introducing a new Line of Service Report, a dedicated Provider Lookup tool, and a direct drill-down from Market Overview into hospital contracting approach.
 

PRIZM Version 5.3 introduces a new Line of Service Report in Hospital Comparison, a standalone Provider Lookup tool, a Contracting Approach drill-down from Market Overview, and sorting and visualization improvements in Provider Disruption, alongside expanded availability of the % Discount – Geo metric.

New Line of Service Report
Comparing a hospital's rates at the contract level is useful, but it doesn't show where those rates come from. The new Line of Service Report breaks a hospital's contract down by Type of Service and Category, the same structure used in the Key Drivers report in Networks, so users can see exactly where a contract is strong or weak.
 

• The report is accessed via the Hospital Comparison report or directly through the new Line of Service option in the reports menu

• Users can compare up to 100 hospital names or CCNs at once, filterable by Carrier, Reporting Entity, Product, and Network

• Results are shown as both % of Medicare and % Discount from Billed Charges, broken out by Type of Service and Category

• Users can also drill down directly into Line of Service from the Hospital Comparison report page

New Provider Lookup

Tracing which organizations a provider bills or services under, and where, has usually meant working across multiple sources. Provider Lookup answers that from a single NPI or provider name search.
 

• Users can search by a single servicing or billing provider's name or NPI

• Results include Group Enrollment ID, NPI, Organization Name, Provider Type, State, and Source

• A summary view shows the number of billing NPIs, organizations, states, and group enrollments tied to the provider searched

 Market Overview – Contracting Approach Drill Down

Market Overview gives a high-level read on a market. It now connects directly to the contract-level detail behind it.

• A new "Contracting Approach" button has been added to Market Overview's Hospital Comparison section

• It drills directly into the Hospital Comparison Report's Contracting Approach view for the same query

• Provider Disruption: Results can now be sorted by Name in addition to NPI, and the Upset Plot view adds tooltips when multiple networks are selected
